About the Hackathon

The Odyssey Hackathon, hosted in Tunis, is an exciting competition that unites business and technology students under the Dione Protocol. This event challenges participants to form teams and hatch innovative ideas that leverage the Odyssey blockchain, a core technology of Dione Protocol that's powered by renewable energy. This aligns with the company's commitment to sustainability and environmental health. Throughout the competition, participants will benefit from expert-led workshops that are both educational and constructive. The top three teams will not only enjoy financial rewards but also gain direct entry into a global accelerator program. This presents a unique opportunity to compete on an international stage and secure funding to bring their visionary projects to life.

Communicating Dione's vision and mission to the participants, including an overview of its objectives and values. They will gain insights into the goals and outcomes of the hackathon, as well as understand the step-by-step process of how the event will unfold.

Ice-breaking and team building activities
Participants will engage in an ice-breaking activity where they will share their educational backgrounds and express the reasons behind their enthusiasm for web3 technology.

Who can particiapte in this hackathon

The Odyssey Hackathon welcomes all individuals from technical and business schools. If you're a student eager to innovate and collaborate, this is the place for you!

Can participants apply as a team or individually?

Participants have the flexibility to apply either individually or as part of a team. If applying as a team, ensure it does not exceed five members, with each member bringing diverse skills and competencies to enrich the team's dynamic.

Is there tuition fees for registration?

No, there are no tuition fees required for registration or at any point after selection. This hackathon is fully accessible at no cost to encourage broad participation.

How the event is scheduled?

The hackathon event is designed to give participants a rich experience spread over two critical days within a seven-day period. It kicks off with a 12-hour intensive session on Saturday, June 8, 2024. This is followed by a week of development and preparation leading up to another exhilarating 12-hour session on Saturday, June 22, 2024, where ideas come to life and are pushed forward for future development.
